Marco Polo
This exhibition illustrates the incredible journey of Marco Polo through the display of original paintings, portraits, maps, models, artifacts and objects that represent some of the many locations, cultures and customs that he encountered along the way. Lenders to the exhibition include a wide variety of Italian museums and institutions with specialized collections of 13th and 14th century art and artifacts. This exhibition is a cooperation-project of Expona and Contemporanea Progetti.
